Craggers has the use of the Rock Court climbing wall at The Stanley Deason leisure centre on Wilson Avenue, Brighton. This wall was built by Craggers and Adventure Unlimited (www.aultd.org) with support from The Council, South Downs Climbers and Awards for all. It was opened on the 17th November 2005.
Craggers have regular sessions at the wall on Fridays in term time from 4pm-6pm for supervised family climbing (i.e. parents/gardians climbing with their children). We are able to offer harnesses, helmets and some shoes as well as advice and support in learning to climb. These sessions cost £1 for adults and 50p for children. We offer 1 intoductory session to non-members then in order to continue attending you will need to join Craggers as either a Wall user or Full member. Please contact Craggers to see which membership you would prefer or for more info.
To join Craggers as Wall user you need only to complete a membership form and pay the annual membeship fee* at the Wall. To become a Full member you need to attend a general meeting and ask to join, complete a membership form and pay the annual membership fee*.(*annual membership fees vary according to income, please see the membership section on the web site for current fees).
If you would like to know more about our climbing sessions then please contact our wall coordinator.
